STI is engaged in a number of activities spanning four main branches of research: Family, Bioethics, Culture & Lifestyles, and Corporate Governance.
These activities take the form of either Experts Meetings or research projects.
Experts Meetings involve the gathering of a group of scholars who are active and accomplished in a specific area. Among these people, several are invited to present papers, which are discussed by the group as a whole. Often STI then publishes these papers, revised and reviewed in light of the discussion, in a book.
On a case by case basis, STI also supports research projects in the four main areas mentioned above.
