Jon Arrizabalaga is a Senior Researcher in the History of Science at the Institución Milà i Fontanals, Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Barcelona. His research interests are mostly focused on medicine, health and disease (the plague, French disease) in pre-modern Europe, as well as on biomedicine and social movements in the modern world.
